Today (26th) around 7:45 am, a fire broke out at Hyundai Premium Outlet in Yongsan-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, killing 4 people.

Another person was seriously injured and is being treated in hospital.

The fire department put out a large flame around 1:10 p.m., and a special vehicle is used to evacuate the heat and smoke inside, and a search operation is underway to find the two remaining missing persons.

After receiving a fire report, the fire department issued a second stage of response and deployed 126 firefighters and 40 equipment.

At the time of the fire, it was confirmed that there were no outside customers because the outlet was before the opening, and 110 people, including guests and workers in the nearby lodging building, were evacuated.

The fire department is investigating the details of the fire based on eyewitness reports that there was a lot of black smoke after a 'click' sound from the underground loading dock.
