A 71-year-old man fell from the breakwater in Jangsa-dong, Sokcho-si, Gangwon-do, around 2 pm today (25th).
The fire department, who responded to the report, rescued Mr. A, and Mr. A was transported to a nearby hospital in cardiac arrest.
After being transported to the hospital, Mr. A is said to have regained his breath.
Police and fire authorities believe that A fell through tetrapods while fishing on the breakwater and are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
