Today (25th) around 1:40 pm, a 12-car collision involving a freight car, a passenger car, and a van occurred near the Yeoju Junction in the Incheon direction of the Yeongdong Expressway, Ganam-eup, Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi-do.
No one was seriously injured in the accident, but about 28 people were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, the fire department explained.
In addition, in the aftermath of the accident settlement, there was a severe vehicle congestion in the area for nearly an hour.
The accident occurred in a chain when a truck following a slow-moving car collided with one another.
The police are investigating the exact cause of the accident with the driver and witnesses of the accident vehicle.
