The funeral ceremony of the late Commander Lee Dae-jun, who was killed by the North Korean army in the West Sea, was held at 10 am today at a funeral home in Mokpo, Jeollanam-do, as the head of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries.

The funeral ceremony was held in the presence of about 100 people, including the deceased's family, Minister of Oceans and Fisheries Cho Seung-hwan, employees of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, and colleagues from the West Sea Fisheries Management Group.

Minister of Oceans and Fisheries Cho Seung-hwan, who delivered the funeral service as the director of Jang, said, "There is no way to hide the true sorrow of the entire marine and fishery family as we will be sent to that high heaven at least late." I promise in front of the deceased's brother that we will work hard to become a marine and fishery powerhouse."

The representative of the bereaved family said, "We experienced and hurt the tragedy of the last government, which did nothing beyond the announcement of an investigation that was different from the facts at the beginning of the incident. Now, let's spend it comfortably on the road to sleep."
