The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office announced today (21st) that it has set up a dedicated investigation team led by Kim Soo-min, the 3rd detective in relation to the Jeon Joo-hwan case sent by the police.



Prosecutors said that they will send a total of four prosecutors to respond strictly with a thorough reinforcement investigation and do everything possible to support the victims (survivors).



According to the Criminal Procedure Act, the prosecution plans to hand over Jeon Joo-hwan to trial after conducting a supplementary investigation for up to 20 days.



Jeon Joo-hwan is being tried on charges of stalking, etc., and on the night of the 14th, one day before the first trial, she is accused of killing the victim by swinging a knife at the victim in a bathroom at Sindang Station in Seoul.



The police arrested and investigated Jeon Joo-hwan, and handed over her charges to the prosecution today, including retaliatory murder under the Act on Aggravated Punishment for Certain Crimes.
