It was found that the victim of the 'Sindang Station Stalking Murder Case' appealed to the court to "severe punishment so that he can never retaliate" at the trial of Jeon Joo-hwan (31, arrested), the perpetrator while he was alive.

Attorney Min Go-eun, the representative of the victim's family, held a press conference in front of the National Medical Center in Jung-gu, Seoul, where the burial place of the deceased was prepared on the 20th and said, "Ahead of the final trial date, the judge asked what he wanted to say to the victim, and he made this statement on behalf of the victim in court. "He said.

In the last petition written by the victim, the victim said, "I want to get out of this case more than anyone else, and the reason I have endured to this day without an agreement is because I firmly believe that the judge will give a severe punishment."

Lawyer Min also said that on the morning of the 14th, the day of the crime, the victim said, "Tomorrow is the sentencing date, so it's all over."

The victim sued Jeon twice in October of last year and in January of this year on charges of violating the Punishment of Sexual Violence Act and the Punishment of Stalking Act.

Jeon, who was found guilty and indicted without detention, was sentenced to 9 years in prison at a trial last month, and committed the crime on the night of the 14th, one day before his sentencing.

Lawyer Min claimed that Jeon had contacted the victim until the end of February this year.

He said the victim avoided it, saying, 'Please don't contact me any more'.

In the course of the trial, Attorney Min requested a settlement and submitted a statement of reflection to the court.

Lawyer Min claims that Jeon was late for the first trial and answered the judge who asked the reason for the crime, 'I drank alcohol because it was so hard at the time.

In addition, Jeon expressed his intention to deliver an apology to the victim at the decision trial, but he did not contact the lawyers before the crime, lawyer Min said.

Attorney Min also talked about the limitations he felt during the investigation process.

Regarding the dismissal of the first arrest warrant for Jeon by the court, he said, "I felt limited that both the investigative agency and the court were not active," he said.

Lawyer Min warned that he would take legal action if media reports that were different from the facts about this case damage the reputation of the deceased.

"The essence of this case is that the victim was stalked by the defendant for two years, which eventually led to murder," he said. "Everything else is secondary," he said.

"The victim did not want to tell anyone about this incident during his lifetime, and he was concerned that this would cause concern to his family," he said. "He expressed regret.

Attorney Min has also applied for the non-disclosure of Jeon's trial, prohibition of observing, and non-disclosure of the judgment.
