After receiving the corona vaccine, a court ruling has come out that the government should compensate victims of brain disease.

This is the first time that a person who developed certain symptoms after receiving the vaccine but was not recognized as a side effect of the vaccine filed a lawsuit against the government and won.

The CDC immediately appealed.

A man in his 30s was vaccinated against AstraZeneca's coronavirus in April last year.

I had a fever the next day, numbness, swelling, and dizziness the next day, so I went to the emergency room of the university hospital.

After various tests, he was diagnosed with intracerebral hemorrhage, cerebral spongy malformation, and mononeuropathy just after vaccination.

The hospital also reported the abnormal reaction of Mr. A to the health authorities.

A's family applied to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to compensate 3,621,510 won, but the government refused to compensate, saying that vaccination and the causality of symptoms were not recognized.

The court's decision was different.

It is difficult to conclude that Mr. A's symptoms and disease were caused only by causes other than vaccination, and it does not seem completely impossible to infer that it was caused by vaccination, so it is reasonable to consider that there is a causal relationship.

We also considered that Mr. A, who was very healthy before the inoculation, suddenly developed symptoms after the inoculation.

The CDC immediately appealed.

The court is particularly concerned with 'National Compensation for Damages Caused by Vaccinations, etc.' It also emphasized the meaning of the causal relationship applied to the infection prevention method that stipulated the

Based on the Supreme Court ruling that the time interval between vaccination and the onset of symptoms is close, and proof that it is not caused by a cause other than vaccination is sufficient.

Therefore, attention is focused on whether it will affect other trials.
