The police have decided not to appeal with 'no right to prosecute', saying that the statute of limitations for mediation has expired on the suspicion of sexual abuse of former People's Power Representative Lee Jun-seok.
Former CEO Lee was accused of receiving various types of entertainment until 2015, including the allegation that he received sexual favors twice in 2013 by Kim Seong-jin, CEO of IKAIST.
Police said they will continue to investigate other accusations such as destruction of evidence and allegations of false accusation.
