The main culprit in the 'Sindang Station Murder Case' was identified as 31-year-old Jeon Joo-hwan.
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency held a personal information disclosure deliberation committee on the afternoon of the 19th and decided to disclose Jeon Joo-hwan's identity.
Previously, Jeon Joo-hwan killed a female station attendant A at Sindang Station on Seoul Subway Line 2 around 9 pm on the 14th.

As a result of the police investigation, Jeon Joo-hwan and Mr. A were co-workers who had joined the Seoul Transportation Corporation together.
In October of last year, Jeon Joo-hwan was sued once for intimidating A and forcing a meeting, saying that he would distribute illegally filmed videos.
In particular, it was revealed that the 14th of the crime was one day before the court's first trial sentence, and Jeon Joo-hwan accessed the internal network of the Seoul Transportation Corporation and found out Mr. A's place of work.
The police found that Jeon Joo-hwan committed the crime deliberately with a grudge against Mr. A, and arrested him for retaliatory murder.
If the means of the crime is cruel and there is serious damage, the police may disclose the identity of the suspect through the Personal Disclosure Committee.
Recent cases in which the identity of the suspect has been revealed include Ahn In-deuk in an apartment arson/murder case, Ko Koh-jeong in the ex-husband murder case, and Jo Joo-bin, operator of 'Doctor's Room'.
