Jeon Joo-hwan (31, arrested), who killed a woman after persistent stalking, was transferred to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office today (21st) on charges of retaliatory murder under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes (Special Price Act).



Jeon, who came out of the Namdaemun Police Station detention center in Seoul at around 7:30 am today, was asked if he acknowledged that he had illegally filmed and stalked the victim while standing at the photo line without a mask on.



When asked if he had anything to say other than 'I'm sorry,' he said, "I did something really crazy."



When asked if he admits to the retaliatory murder charge or if he has anything to say to the victim, he just repeated "I'm really sorry".



However, he did not comment on the motive for the crime or whether it was planned in advance.



When asked if it was true that he was going to appear at the trial scheduled the day after the crime, Jeon said, "That's right."



As for the reason he tried to withdraw 17 million won before the crime, he said, "I was trying to give my parents."



Jeon was charged with stalking the victim and was tried without detention on the night of the 14th, one day before the sentencing of the first trial, he is accused of killing a victim with a knife while patrolling the women's restroom at Sindang Station on Seoul Subway Line 2.
