A close aide to Kim Seong-tae, chairman of the Ssangboll Group, who is a key figure in the alleged payment of attorney fees by Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party, has returned to Korea and is being investigated by the prosecution.

Prosecutors secured a new recruit from Lee Mo, the CEO of Ssangbang-Bulle, at Incheon International Airport on the morning of the 19th.

Lee is a close aide to Chairman Kim Seong-tae and is said to have played a key role in the allegations of embezzlement, breach of trust, and payment of attorneys' fees.

As the investigation began in earnest, Mr. Lee departed overseas, and the prosecution issued a red wanted for Interpol at the end of last month.
