Grand Theft Auto fans could not have missed the strange publications that have been agitating the web for the past few hours and suggesting a massive hack by the Rockstar Games studio.

As PC Gamer indicates, a user named teapotuberhacker has published nearly 90 videos that come from the game GTA 6, under development.

A Bloomberg reporter later authenticated the footage, saying, "There weren't really any doubts, but I've confirmed with Rockstar sources that this weekend's massive Grand Theft Auto VI leak is very real.

The pictures are ahead and unfinished, of course.

It's one of the biggest leaks in video game history and a nightmare for Rockstar Games.

Not that there was much doubt, but I've confirmed with Rockstar sources that this weekend's massive Grand Theft Auto VI leak is indeed real.

A test version of GTA 6

The hacker appeared in the GTA video game forum, posting a message that has since been deleted.

He says his initiative has gone viral and he is currently negotiating a deal with Take Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games.

The text suggests that teapotuberhacker intends to impose a ransom demand on the studio, so that it stops revealing all the key elements of the game.

In the sequences published by the hacker, a priori drawn from an old test version, we can see scenes which correspond perfectly to the universe of GTA: robberies, interventions of the police forces, provocative dialogues and points of humor….

It would seem that, for the very first time, GTA 6 allows to interpret a female character.

Rockstar Games acknowledges piracy

For its part, Rockstar Games published a press release on Twitter on Monday in which it confirmed the hack.

“We are extremely disappointed that details about our upcoming game are being shared with you in this way.

Our work on the next Grand Theft Auto game will continue as planned and we remain as committed to providing you, our players, with an experience that truly exceeds your expectations,” the publisher said.
