A civil servant at an Incheon Administrative Welfare Center was caught trying to enter the club with a lost resident registration card kept at the center and was investigated by the police.



According to Namdong-gu, Incheon, today (19th), Mr. A, a civil servant at an administrative welfare center affiliated with Namdong-gu, visited a club in Gangnam-gu, Seoul with another person's resident registration card earlier this month.



However, at the time, a club official suspected that the ID photo and the real thing of Mr. A were very different and reported it to the police.



As a result of the confirmation, it was confirmed that Mr. A went to the club with his lost and found resident registration card kept at the administrative welfare center where he works.



Victim B, who was contacted by the police and found out about the theft of his resident registration card, later filed a complaint with Namdong-gu through the National Shinmungo.



He had lost his ID in June of this year.



Person A, in charge of social welfare, is said to have told Namdong-gu about the reason for stealing another person's ID, saying, "I needed an ID at a younger age."



An official from Namdong-gu said, "We have not yet received a notice of the start of the investigation from the local police station."
