A man in his 50s has been arrested by the police at the entrance of a subway station in Incheon, who threatened passersby with a blunt and assaulted a police officer who was dispatched.



The Incheon Bupyeong Police Station announced today (19th) that it had applied for an arrest warrant for a man in his 50s on charges of obstructing the execution of special duties.



According to the police investigation, Mr. A is accused of obstructing the execution of official duties by swinging a blunt weapon at the police officer who was dispatched from the entrance of Bupyeong Station of Gyeongin National Railway (Seoul Subway Line 1) in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon at around 4:26 pm on the 17th.



It was investigated that Mr. A was carrying two blunt flags and threatened by swearing at passersby at Bupyeong Station, and when a police officer dispatched to the scene stopped them, it was investigated that he wielded a blunt weapon.



At that time, one police officer who was arrested at the time was injured in the head part of Mr.



A police official said, "Mr. A did not follow the instructions of the police officer at the scene, and after arresting him as a current criminal, he applied for an arrest warrant."
