A man in his 40s who crashed into a city bus while drunk driving was caught by the police after making a fuss with a weapon saying he would kill the person who reported the accident to the police.



The Incheon Michuhol Police Station announced today (19th) that it had booked a 41-year-old man without detention on charges of preparatory murder and drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act.



Mr. A is accused of making a fuss at a bus stop located in Hakik-dong, Michuhol-gu, Incheon, with a weapon he brought from his home around 10 pm on the 17th.



He was driving his car in a drunken state on a road in Hakik-dong around 9 pm that night, and he collided with a city bus that was stopped.



The police were dispatched to the bus driver's report and the drunk driving accident was discovered, and the blood alcohol level of Mr. A, measured immediately after the accident, was found to have reached 0.131%, which is equivalent to the revocation of his license.



After that, the accident was dealt with, but Mr. A said he would kill the reporter and came out with a knife from his home and made a fuss in front of the policeman and was arrested as a current criminal.



As a result of the police investigation, it is known that Mr. A, who is in charge of driving a vehicle, made a statement to the effect that "It became difficult to work due to the revocation of the license, and he was momentarily angry and came out with a weapon."



A police official said, "A person who made a fuss with a weapon was booked on a charge of preliminary murder, but it is believed that he had no intention of killing the person who reported it.
