The two rescued from the underground parking lot were able to survive after surviving for more than 10 hours in the water while avoiding the air near the ceiling or hanging from a pipe.

Both of them are in good health.

Last night (6th) at 8:15 when the rescue operation was in progress.

Firefighters rescue a man and get out of the underground parking lot.

[I heard there were survivors in there]

This is the moment when a 39-year-old male, former Mo, was miraculously rescued 13 hours after reporting the disappearance.

Mr. Jeon had an accident yesterday morning while going down to move the car after hearing a broadcast from the management office that the underground parking lot was flooding.

[Soon-nyeo Noh/Apartment resident: I came out around 6:30, so I’m already like this…

because it overflowed

I couldn't even get out.

It was so full that those who went underground couldn’t come out, because (water) was instantaneously filled.]

Mr. Jeon was found holding the sewage pipe in the underground parking lot while waiting for rescue in a space with air, so-called 'air pocket'.

At the time of the rescue, Mr. Jeon was said to have no major health problems enough to walk out of the entrance to the underground parking lot.

About an hour and a half later, at 9:40 p.m., a 52-year-old woman, Kim Mo, was also miraculously rescued.

A second survivor was found among the missing.

After staying in the water for 14 hours, Kim complained of hypothermia immediately after rescue, but was clearly conscious, the fire department explained.

It is said that Kim was found lying face down in the space above the pipe in the upper part of the underground parking lot.

The fire department believes that they were able to survive because there was a certain amount of free space above the plumbing in the underground parking lot.

The two people who showed a miraculous survival are currently being treated at the hospital, but there are no major health problems.
