I am worried about what kind of situation I should tell you right now, but I think it is most urgent to tell you about the situation in Pohang.

We keep getting reports from our company, this is an apartment in Buk-gu, Pohang.

The first floor of the apartment is now submerged in water, so the cars passing by are completely unable to come or go.

The current situation in Pohang Not only this, but reports continue to come in, so it seems that the damage situation will be counted more than this during the daytime.

If you look closely at the current weather conditions, the typhoon landed on Geoje Island at 4:50 this morning.

Then, along the southern coast, it landed as far inland as Busan, causing severe damage to Busan and Geoje Island in the morning, but it has been the most problematic since now.

The biggest problem is that rain clouds are forming in the north of the typhoon, the purple rain clouds you see now, there was strong damage in the metropolitan area a while ago.

Now, it is raining over 100mm per hour in Pohang, North Gyeongsang Province, and the accumulated precipitation alone exceeds 320mm.

The same goes for the Gyeongju area.

However, in the case of a typhoon, it rotates counterclockwise, so the east wind continues to blow even though the typhoon is now passing away.

So, regardless of the path of the typhoon, heavy rain continues in the east coast region, and even if the typhoon passes along the east coast in the future, it will soon pass, but rain clouds in the Pohang region are expected to stay for a while.

So in these areas, flood damage can increase rapidly, and you need to be careful as there may be more rain in the future.

We will provide more detailed information as soon as the current typhoon situation continues to come in.
