The 11th typhoon Hinnamno passed between the main island of Okinawa and Taiwan on the afternoon of the 4th and was approaching the Korean Peninsula, the Japan Meteorological Agency said.

According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, Hinnamno is moving north at a speed of 15 km/h in the sea about 200 km north-northwest of Miyakojima, an island in western Okinawa Prefecture, as of 2:00 pm today.

The central pressure is 950 hectopascals (hPa), and strong winds with a maximum wind speed of 40 m/s and a maximum instantaneous wind speed of 60 m/s are blowing near the center of the typhoon.

A very strong wind blew at a speed of 40.1 m/s from Miyakojima and 37.9 m/s from Isagakijima, and the trees were also broken.

In Kunigami, it rained a lot in Okinawa Prefecture, including 61.5mm of rain for an hour this morning, and flights to Okinawa were canceled one after another.

In Okinawa Prefecture, agricultural greenhouses were destroyed, and in some areas, such as Miyakojima City, pre-election polling places for the prefectural governor were closed.

As it entered the sphere of influence of Hinnamno, Ishigaki City, Miyakojima City, Taketomi Town, etc., which are island local governments in western Okinawa Prefecture, issued an 'evacuation order' to about 110,000 residents yesterday.

As strong winds and heavy rain continued, a large-scale power outage occurred. As of 11 pm yesterday, about 3,400 households in Miyakojima, Taramason, Ishigaki, and Taketomi-cho were counted as experiencing power outages, NHK reported.
