The arrest warrant for Bae, who has been considered a key figure in connection with the alleged misappropriation of corporate cards, of Kim Hye-kyung, the spouse of Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party, has been dismissed.

The court stated that the reason for the dismissal was that it was necessary to guarantee the right to defense and the necessity of arrest was not explained.

The arrest warrant for Bae, who was accused of using a Gyeonggi corporate card during the days of Gyeonggi Province governor Lee Jae-myung, president of the Democratic Party, was dismissed.

The court explained the reason that it is difficult to see the necessity and relevance of arrest at this stage as being sufficiently explained, saying that there is a need to guarantee Bae's right to defend, looking at the evidence collected so far.

Bae, who served as an assistant to his spouse Kim Hye-kyung when Lee Jae-myung was serving as the governor of Gyeonggi-do, has been accused of misuse of 20 million won, such as paying for Kim's personal food with a corporate card.

He is also accused of violating the Public Official Election Act, such as serving meals to Democratic officials during the presidential election.

As Bae's arrest failed, the police investigation into the misappropriation of Kim Hye-kyung's corporate card became inevitable.

Hye-kyung Kim is holding on to the position that she did not know about the fact that Mr. Bae was useful.

On the 9th of next month, with only ten days left until the statute of limitations under the Public Official Election Act, the Democratic Party is expected to raise the voice of an unreasonable investigation.
