A dog was recently found in Jeju with an arrow in the body, and the police have launched an investigation.

On the 26th, a dog walking around with a 70 cm arrow pierced through its body was found on the side of a road in Hangyeong-myeon, Jeju City.

The dog immediately underwent surgery to remove the arrow at a nearby veterinary hospital, and fortunately, it was confirmed that there was no life-threatening injury.

The police, who started the investigation, asked the Jeju Island Archery Association for advice on the arrow in question, and as a result, it was said that 'it is judged not to be used for a crossbow'. It looks like a regular archery arrow, so it's difficult to trace back the bow and arrow holder.

At the time of discovery, the dog was on a leash, but the identification tag or registration chip could not be identified, making it difficult for the owner to know.

A police official said, 'If you have seen this dog or witnessed a crime scene, please report it.'
