In Hongseong, South Chungcheong Province, a video of a middle school student lying on a church pedestal holding a cell phone during class has spread online and is causing controversy.

On the 26th, a 12-second video was uploaded on a social networking service (SNS) that seemed to be filming or searching a female teacher with a cell phone while a male student was lying on the pedestal.

Her teacher ignored this student's behavior and focused on her class, and the other students were also filmed not stopping this student.

In fact, it is not yet known in detail whether the student filmed and photographed the teacher, searched on a cell phone, or fell for some other reason.

It is said that the school took the video down when controversy arose, such as infringement of school rights.

Education authorities are investigating the circumstances of the middle school where the video is known to have been filmed.

An official from the Chungnam Provincial Office of Education said, "Even though the student was in class, it is understood that the cell phone charging cable was plugged into an outlet near the school table and charged." We plan to open a committee to check if there are any violations of teaching rights.”
