Four events were approved at the first meeting of the 'Gwanghwamun Plaza Advisory Group', which deliberates on permits for use of events held at Gwanghwamun Plaza in Seoul, which reopened earlier this month.

The Gwanghwamun Square Advisory Group held its first meeting on the 24th (the 24th) and approved the use of four events.

The event where the first permission decision was made is the 'Korea Accompanying Sale' held on the 30th and 31st, an event held by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups to help SMEs and small business develop markets.

Next month, the Youth Day event hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, and the Korean Cultural Festival hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Jongno Hanbok Festival hosted by Jongno-gu in October were approved for use.

The advisory group reviewed a total of 12 applications for use of Gwanghwamun Square received by the city, including 4 for which permission was granted.

Among them, one was rejected by a religious group prayer meeting, and seven cases were judged not to require deliberation by the advisory group.
