Prosecutors conducted a search and seizure of presidential records on two occasions today (19th).



First, the Daejeon District Prosecutor's Office, which is investigating suspicions of economic manipulation of the Wolsong Unit 1 nuclear power plant, is conducting a search and seizure by sending investigators to the Presidential Archives in Sejong this morning.



The Daejeon District Prosecutor's Office has been conducting an investigation in response to complaints from a civic group to investigate whether there was any illegal activity in relation to the decision to shut down the Wolseong nuclear power plant during the Moon Jae-in administration.



Another search and seizure of presidential records is the situation in which the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, which is investigating the allegation of forcible repatriation of North Korean fishermen, sent investigators to the Presidential Archives this afternoon to secure related materials as well.
