What if the face of a criminal appears on an electric billboard in the middle of Seoul?

Recently, unusual movements have been caught on YouTube and Twitter.

Chinese fans of the group 'Big Bang' are planning to post a tribute advertisement in Myeong-dong, Seoul to commemorate the 16th anniversary of BIGBANG's debut.

However, when I checked the video produced for the advertisement, the image of former member Seungri (real name Lee Seung-hyun) appears constantly.

Seungri, the central character of the so-called 'Burning Sun Gate' in 2019, was convicted on nine counts and is currently incarcerated in Yeoju Prison.

An advertisement congratulating the criminal is hung on the billboard that all citizens can see.

Surprisingly, there is no legal basis to prevent this in advance.

Can't you prevent ads from appearing in advance?

So, if I pay money, can I run any advertisement?

Check out the video for more details.
