A surprise heavy rain fell in the Chungnam area overnight.

More than 100mm per hour, causing damage one after another, and the search operation is continuing as two people in the truck went missing.

Today (14th) around 2 am, two drivers, including a 50-year-old driver, who were in the truck went missing after reporting that the car was floating in the water.



More than 300 people, including police, firefighters, and the military, have searched, but have not been able to find them.



During the night, it rained at a maximum rate of 110mm per hour in Chungnam, causing damage one after another.



In a nearby village, the soil collapsed, burying three cows and killing them.



A huge boulder rolled down the mountain and settled in the middle of the village.



In the private house right next door, the roof has collapsed and it is difficult to even recognize the shape of the house because it is tangled with the living quarters.

The river overflowed from the overnight rain, and the bridge was deeply embedded in grass and trees.

389 reports of damage due to heavy rains in Chungnam, including Buyeo, Cheongyang, Boryeong, and Gongju, were tentatively counted.



57 facilities, including road loss and flooding of houses, and 345.6 hectares of agricultural land, including paddy fields and orchards, suffered rain damage, and about 90 residents were evacuated.
