A man in his 40s was found dead in an artificial river at the height of an adult knee in Sang-dong, Bucheon-si, Gyeonggi-do.



According to the Wonmi Police Station in Bucheon on the 11th, a report was received that a man in his 40s was drowning and collapsed in an artificial river in Sang-dong, Bucheon, around 6 am on the morning of the 11th. 



A passerby who was passing by at the time found Mr. A and called 911, and it is known that the passerby made a statement to the fire department, "I saw a person drowning and reported it."



The 119 paramedics and police who received the report immediately rushed to the scene, but Mr. A was already dead.



At the time of discovery, Mr. A was wearing all his clothes and carrying belongings such as a wallet, but his cell phone was not found.



The police presumed that A fell into an artificial river at knee height and passed out and drowned as there were no traces of trauma or death, and there was no will.



However, a police official said, "We plan to keep all possibilities open and secure CCTV footage around him to reveal the cause of Mr. A's fall into an artificial river and the exact cause of death."
