A man in his thirties was seriously injured by bullets in the 12th arrondissement of Marseille on the night of Sunday to Monday.

The man, who was seated on a terrace at the time of the incident, was hit in the head and thigh, before being rolled over by the vehicle of his attackers. 

A man in his thirties was seriously injured by bullets overnight from Sunday to Monday in Marseille and chased by a vehicle that ran over his body, police sources said.

Around 3:15 a.m., in the 12th arrondissement, in the east of Marseille, a man who was seated on a terrace was targeted by several perpetrators, according to a police source.

He was hit in the head and thigh.

The judicial police seized

"He was seriously injured by bullets and followed by a vehicle which ran over him", also explained the police headquarters of Bouches-du-Rhône.

Aged 30, the victim "very unfavorably known to the services", according to a police source, had "about fifty history related to narcotics".

The Judicial Police (PJ) was seized.

Thursday, August 4, at 4 a.m., a 39-year-old man was shot and killed in the hall of his building in a district of the 15th arrondissement of Marseille.

The PJ was also seized.

Eighteen people have died by gunshot since the beginning of the year against a background of drug trafficking and three by stabbing in the Bouches-du-Rhône.
