The police applied for an arrest warrant for a 42-year-old man who was arrested three days after killing his wife and stabbing his mother-in-law with a knife.



Mr. A is accused of running away after stabbing his wife in her 40s several times with her weapon at her home in Michuhol-gu, Incheon at around 0:30 a.m. on the 4th.



The mother-in-law in her 60s, who was with her at the time, was also stabbed with a weapon wielded by Mr. A and was taken to the hospital for treatment.



When 119 paramedics arrived at the scene, the deceased wife was lying in the living room inside the house and the mother-in-law was lying on the road outside the house.



A passerby found his mother-in-law outside the house and called 911.



Mr. A fled around Gyeonggi-do immediately after the crime, but was arrested by the police at a motel in Suwon at around 1 am on the 7th, three days later.



Person A is said to have a criminal record of being sentenced to imprisonment several times for crimes such as violence in the past.



A police official said, "I applied for an arrest warrant for murder and attempted murder."
