According to the National Police Agency, about 50cm in width and 20cm in height of aluminum foam loaded on a truck running on the Jungbu Expressway fell.
The aluminum foam that had fallen bounced off as a vehicle in front stepped on it and crashed directly into the windshield of the vehicle behind.
Secondary damage occurred because the cargo loaded on the truck was not properly fixed.
The police went out to arrest the vehicle that caused the accident to prevent further damage, but it was difficult to identify the vehicle in the area where the CCTV was not installed.
The only clue was the aluminum foam left at the scene, and when the police looked carefully at the aluminum foam in question, they found a small sticker.
After investigating the country with this sticker, the police were able to identify the relevant company, and based on this, they were able to find the suspect who drove the vehicle that caused the accident.
The police urged, "If the loaded cargo falls and causes a traffic accident, special attention should be paid to it as punishment will be aggravated according to the Traffic Accident Handling Special Act."

Meanwhile, according to the Freight Vehicle Transportation Business Act, transportation business operators are required to take necessary measures such as covers, packaging, and fixing devices to prevent the loaded cargo from falling.
Failure to comply with this will result in a fine of not more than 10 million won.
If you do not take the necessary measures to prevent the departure of your cargo and cause injury or death, you will be punished by imprisonment for not more than 5 years or by a fine of not more than 20 million won.
