Ahn Hee-jeong, a former governor of Chungnam, who was sentenced to prison for raping an attendant, was released from prison today (4th) from Yeoju Prison in Gyeonggi Province after serving three years and six months.



From July 2017 to February 2018, former Governor Ahn has been serving a sentence confirmed by the Supreme Court in September 2019 on charges of sexually assaulting an attendant several times using a hierarchical relationship.



He was temporarily released after receiving a suspended sentence for the death of her mother in July 2020 and the death of her father in March of this year.
