A woman in her 30s who showed abnormal behavior, such as jumping into the road suddenly, was arrested by the police on charges of using drugs. 



The Gangbuk Police Station in Seoul announced today (1st) that it had booked a 38-year-old man without detention on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act. 



According to the police, Mr. A showed unusual behavior, such as trying to jump into a driveway in Mia-dong, Gangbuk-gu, Seoul around 9:10 pm on the 28th of last month. 



When the police were dispatched to the scene, Mr. A made a dangerous scene, such as trying to jump back into the road while speaking incomprehensible words.

The police voluntarily accompanied Mr. A to a safe place and took protective measures.

Afterwards, he asked A whether he was taking drugs, and Mr. A admitted to taking drugs. 



As a result of the police's inspection of belongings, white powder was found in Mr. A's bag, and it was also investigated that drugs were detected in the urine test. 



Prior to this incident, Mr. A had a history of being arrested at a police station in Seoul for drug use, and is known to be a North Korean defector. 



The police confiscated the drug that A had and is investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.
