The Korean Bar Association (Chairman of the Association, Lee Jong-yeop) announced that it had presented the 19th and 20th Best Lawyers Award.



On the list of awards, lawyer Kim Jae-hee (41, 2 times of bar exam), who represented former tennis player Eun-hee Kim, known as 'MeToo No.



The Bar Association said, "We have drawn the first ruling that the statute of limitations for a victim's right to claim compensation should be regarded as starting from the time when they are diagnosed with a disability due to the aftereffects of sexual violence."



Lawyer Lee Kwang-won (46, 5 times byun-si), lawyer, said, "The Constitutional Court ruled that Article 57, Paragraph 2 of the Military Personnel Act related to the military prison system was unconstitutional, contributing to the abolition of the prison system and improvement of human rights in the military." He was also awarded the Outstanding Attorney Award.



The Outstanding Lawyer Award is awarded quarterly, but this year, the 19th awards ceremony was postponed due to the spread of Corona 19, and it was held together with the 20th awards ceremony.



The 19th best lawyers were Kim Ga-ram, Kim Han Ga-hee, Bang Kwang-ho, Cho Yong-joo, Cheon Ju-hyeon, Hong Min-ho, and the 20th best lawyers Kim Jae-hee, Park Beom-jin, Lee Su-jeong, Han Yong-hyeon, Lee Kwang-won, and Jeon-byeol were selected.
