A man in his 20s who raped an elementary school student last Christmas after taking him to an unmanned motel was sentenced to 10 years in prison in the first trial.

On the 25th (today), the 1st Criminal Division of the Yeongwol Branch of the Chuncheon District Court (Chief Judge Choi Young-gak) sentenced A (25), who was charged with rape and other personal injury under the Sexual Violence Punishment Act, to 10 years in prison.

Mr. A, who was working as a ski instructor at a ski resort in the province, was charged with sexual assault on December 25 last year by summoning Miss B, a sixth grader of elementary school, and taking him to an unmanned motel.

It is known that Mr. A looked at the cell phone photos of secondary school students who were working part-time at a ski rental shop, and he pointed out Miss B and asked to introduce it.

The part-time job students dissuaded Ms. B that she was an elementary school student, but it was investigated that Mr. A called Mrs. B with the cell phone of the part-timer.

Afterwards, he took Ms. B to an unmanned motel, and talked about a conditional meeting and suggested prostitution, but when she was rejected, it was revealed that he sexually assaulted her.

He also made him say the sentence 'I accept the conditional meeting' and then recorded it, 'It was fun today.

See you next time,' he even forced me to send a text message.

At the investigation stage, Mr. A denied the allegation, saying, "I did not know that it was an elementary school student who agreed to prostitution."

Earlier, during the investigation of the case, the police arrested Mr. A, but the prosecution disapproved of the emergency arrest of Mr. A due to the absence of a statement from Mr. B, etc.

A post on the Blue House National Petition calling for the disclosure of the identity of Mr. A and severe punishment has also received the consent of more than 60,000 people.

Meanwhile, the prosecution, who had previously asked for 12 years in prison at the decision trial, filed an appeal, saying the sentence was light.
