A 20-year-old student who sexually assaulted a classmate on the Inha University campus and killed him by falling from a building has been handed over from the police to the prosecution.

There was not enough evidence that the victim was intentionally killed, so the murder charge was not applied and the illegal filming charge was added.

20-year-old Kim, dressed in black and covering his face with a hat, comes out of the police station's detention center.

[Mr. Kim / Suspect: (Why did you run away without taking relief at the scene?) I'm sorry.

(Do you have anything to say to the bereaved family?) I sincerely apologize to the victim and to the victim's family.] On the

morning of the 15th, Kim sexually assaulted a classmate in the same college who was unable to resist on the college campus, and the victim fell from the third floor of the building. He is accused of causing death.

The police also reviewed the application of the murder charge based on the fact that Kim escaped the victim without any action.

Experiments assuming various circumstances were also conducted to determine whether the victim was intentionally pushed.

A charge of illegally filming a cell phone was added.

A related video file obtained during the forensic process of Kim's cell phone found at the scene of the incident became evidence.

There is no scene of the crime in this file, but it is known that a voice was recorded that could tell the circumstances of the crime.

[Kim Min-ho / Attorney: If only the voice was recorded against the will of the victim, even if it is a blacked out screen, it is enough to apply the provisions of this law…

]

The prosecution, who took over the case, sent three prosecutors to form a dedicated investigation team led by a deputy chief prosecutor in charge of women's crimes.

It is known that the prosecution is planning to reexamine whether Kim can be charged with murder.
