A high school student who made an extreme choice after wielding a weapon at an elementary school student in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, and the victim are unknown.
The Chuncheon Police Station in Gangwon-do said that it was confirmed that they were completely ignorant as a result of checking the statements of the victim, his family, and the parents of the suspect, 17-year-old group A, as well as their cell phone call records for three months.
As the police analyzed the victim's cell phone through digital forensics with the consent of the family, there was no record of contact or exchange of contact with Army A.
The police will also conduct forensic analysis on Army A's cell phone and computer in the near future in the presence of the family.
Group A struck an elementary school student in the elevator of an apartment complex at around 7 pm on the 12th, causing serious injuries.
Immediately after, Army A fled to the roof of another apartment 3 km away from the crime scene and committed suicide.
The police will continue to investigate the suspect's motive.
