A man in his 50s who went to the woman's house and illegally filmed it, broke the electronic anklet he was wearing, and ran away, was arrested by the police.



According to the police today (20th), the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul arrested a man in his 50s, who ran away after turning off the electronic location tracking device (electronic anklet) yesterday, at about 4:44 am today at the meeting place rest area in the direction of Busan on the Gyeongbu Expressway in Seocho-gu.



A is suspected of entering the house of a woman in her twenties in Gangnam-gu at about 1 am yesterday and illegally filming it, and on the same day, at around 4:30 am in Jamsil-dong, Songpa-gu, cut an electronic anklet and fled.



It was determined that Mr. A had committed the crime by breaking into her house in the middle of the night while she was working as a driver at an entertainment pub, and she remembered Mr. B's address, who works at the same pub.



After that, Mr. A fled using her taxi and rental car.



The police and the Justice Department found out that her Mr. A had damaged her electronic anklet and made a public wanted.



It is known that Mr. A was sentenced to prison for secretly filming multiple women in 2020 and was ordered to attach an electronic anklet until 2025.



The police received a report from Mr. A's acquaintance about 3:16 am today that "I rented her car to Mr. A" and started tracking the rental car.



It is said that the reporter heard the news that Mr. A was wanted and reported it to the police.



The police, who identified the vehicle's location through the car rental company's location information system (GPS), confirmed that the vehicle was stopped at the meeting place rest area and rushed to the scene.



Then I caught Mr. A, who was sleeping in the car.



The police handed over the arrested person A to the Seoul Probation Center, and said that they plan to send it to the prosecution after further investigation into the man in his 40s who helped the crime.
