Prosecutors investigating the attack of a public official in the West Sea and the repatriation of North Korean defectors to North Korea have imposed a departure ban and notification upon entry to Park Ji-won and former NIS Director Seo Hoon.



The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office's Public Investigation Division 1 and 3 said that they had taken necessary measures, such as bans from leaving the country, against those involved in the case, including Park Ji-won and former Director Seo-hoon.



Earlier, on the 6th, the National Intelligence Service filed a complaint against the two former directors on charges of abuse of power in connection with the shooting of a public official in the West Sea and the repatriation of North Korean fishermen to North Korea.



It is known that former Director Park is currently staying in Korea, and Seo has recently left the country and is staying in the United States.
