The Democratic nomination committee was formed 66 days after former President Kim Oh-soo resigned in protest against the Democratic Party's legislation to reduce the prosecution's investigative powers.



This is the latest in the nomination committee system since 2011.



The nomination committee, which consists of five ex-officio members, including the deputy chief of the Court Administration, plus four other members, including former Prosecutor General Kim Jin-tae, will receive recommendations for president candidates by the 19th.



The recommended conditions are at least 15 years of legal experience.



If the Recommendation Committee narrows down the candidates to three or more, the Attorney General recommends one of them to the President.
