A Korean Air flight from Istanbul to Incheon International Airport made an emergency landing in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
It is known that Korean Air Flight KE9956, which departed from Istanbul International Airport at 6:25 pm local time on the 9th, made an emergency landing at Haidar Aliyev International Airport in Baku with an aircraft abnormality about two hours after takeoff.
It is said that the captain of the aircraft announced in an in-flight broadcast that one of the plane's engines had failed.
Some passengers witnessed sparks from the engine, and fire engines were also called when the aircraft landed at the airport.
