Yesterday (7th) around 11:50 pm, at a railroad crossing near Ichon Station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line in Seoul, a man in his 30s was hit and killed by a train.
The man suffered a head injury and was taken to hospital in cardiac arrest.
In addition, train operation was delayed for about 30 minutes as the railroad was blocked for the purpose of correcting the accident.
Police are investigating the exact cause of the accident based on eyewitness statements that the man appeared to be intoxicated.
