A 20-year-old son who left his father's body in the refrigerator for several months was arrested.



Yesterday (4th), the Seosan Police Station in Chungcheongnam-do announced that they had arrested a 20-year-old man accused of corpse abandonment and abuse and murder.



Mr. A is accused of abandoning his father's body in the refrigerator at his house in Seosan, where he lived on the 30th of last month.



As a result of the police investigation, it was revealed that A's father's health had deteriorated from the beginning of this year due to dementia and diabetes.



It was understood that Mr. A started beating his father, who had worsened dementia, and did not even give his father food.



This abuse continued for over a month, and the father eventually died, and it was investigated that Mr. A left the body in the refrigerator for over a month.



This case became known after the building manager who was helping Mr. A, who had to move, reported the body to the police while checking the body in the refrigerator.



It turned out that the father's body had been neglected for a long time and was decomposing.



During the police investigation, it is known that Mr. A made a statement to the effect that his father's condition worsened and died, and the funeral could not be held due to financial problems, so he had kept the body in the refrigerator.



The police confirmed that Mr. A had been living alone with his father and requested an autopsy to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences to determine the exact cause of death, while continuing the investigation against Mr. A.
