On the morning of the 30th, a photo was spread along with an article titled 'Today's current situation at Seryu Station on Line 1' on Twitter and online communities.

In the photo, citizens were forced to take off their shoes and roll up their pants to pass through the underground passageway submerged in yellow muddy water.

Around 8:30 am that day, rainwater poured down the underground passage at Seryu Station in Suwon, making it difficult for citizens to go to work.

At one time, a train passed without stopping.

Netizens who saw the photo showed reactions such as "Koreans who work hard even in heavy rain", "Should I go to work doing this?", "Company should consider working from home on days like this."

On the other hand, according to the Metropolitan Meteorological Administration, accumulated precipitation in Seoul recorded more than 130 mm from yesterday afternoon to night, and Seosin in Hwaseong and Cheoin in Yongin recorded more than 240 mm.

The Korea Meteorological Administration predicted that by tomorrow, it will rain up to 150 mm in the metropolitan area and up to 100 mm in Gangwon, and 20 to 70 mm more rain in the northern part of Chungcheong.
