Normally, it is dinner time when it should be wide open to welcome guests, but a police line has been installed at the entrance of the restaurant.

The incident happened yesterday (30th) around 5pm.

At a restaurant in Noam-dong, Gangneung-si, a man in his 60s, Mr. A, wielded a weapon at the owner of the restaurant, Mr. B, a woman in her 50s.

Mr. B was immediately taken to the hospital by a report from her customer immediately after the incident, but she eventually died.

[Neighbors of the affected restaurant: He is a kind person who greets the neighbors well and is kind…

When I skip lunch alone, they bring me kimchi to eat along with ramen (that's who I am).]

Mr. B, who opened a new restaurant last month after running a restaurant in another town for 20 years, was robbed two weeks after the store opened.

After committing her crimes here, Mr. A visited her tavern 1 km away and wielded her weapon again.

The owner of a nearby pub was also seriously injured by her weapon wielded by Mr. A, and was taken to the hospital, but it is known that, fortunately, her life is not in jeopardy.

Immediately after her crime, Mr. A surrendered himself to the police.

Person A, who was urgently arrested on suspicion of murder, is known to have confessed to the police investigation that he committed the crime by showing a disrespectful attitude such as not pretending to know him.

Police believe that A was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crime and plan to apply for an arrest warrant after investigating the specific motive for the crime.
