A robber who broke into the Saemaul Geumgo branch in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, was caught by the police eight days after escaping.



Gyeonggi Namyangju Northern Police Station arrested a 43-year-old man suspected of attempted special robbery at the house of Mr. A's acquaintance in Namyangju at around 5:40 pm yesterday.



Person A is suspected of entering the Saemaul Geumgo branch in Toegyewon-eup, Namyangju-si, around 4 pm on the 20th, threatening the employees with a gas sprayer and a weapon and demanding money.



The police released CCTV containing the crime scene of Mr. A today (29th).



According to the video, Mr. A prepared for the crime by searching around the Saemaul Geumgo right before the crime, and then went inside the Saemaul Geumgo wearing a helmet and ran away after fighting with the staff.



Two female employees and one male employee were taken to the hospital for treatment after being hit by a gas jet during the fighting process.



Although the money was not taken away due to the resistance of the staff, he was also caught changing clothes and escaping using a bicycle.



The police said, "Mr. A admitted to the crime and plans to investigate whether he is an accomplice."
