POSCO announced today (28th) that it has severely sanctioned six executives responsible for direct and indirect management of the victims and related employees in this case.



These executives include the director of the Pohang Works where the incident occurred.



In addition, POSCO decided to hold a personnel committee meeting on the 1st of next month to determine the level of disciplinary action against the four employees related to the incident based on the results of its own investigation, regardless of the results of the ongoing police investigation.



In addition, POSCO plans to prepare comprehensive measures to eradicate sexual ethics violations as soon as possible by re-inspecting sexual ethics-related systems and systems with the support of external specialized agencies.
