The story of how citizens gathered in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, and rescued a driver from under a vehicle is becoming a hot topic.
Today (22nd), on the official Facebook page of the Seoul Police, a video titled 'The driver under the vehicle, the police and the citizen together rescued' was uploaded.
In the video, a vehicle was caught stopping in a residential area in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.

This vehicle is driver A's vehicle, and at that time, Mr. A stopped the car on the roadside for a while to deliver to a residential area.
However, as the side brake of Mr. A's vehicle, which was stopped, was released, the vehicle quickly began to slide backwards.
After confirming this, Mr. A ran to the rear of the vehicle to prevent it from slipping, but ended up falling under the vehicle.

Citizens who witnessed the scene of Mr. A being crushed under the vehicle immediately gathered around the vehicle and gathered their strength.
Two passers-by in suits ran to the vehicle first, and three police officers working at the nearby police box also ran to Mr. A's vehicle.

When five people, including a passerby and a police officer, pushed the vehicle with all their might, the vehicle began to move slowly.
Other passers-by who witnessed the force pushing the car also contributed to the rescue, and Mr. A gradually appeared from under the car.

After a while, Mr. A got out of the vehicle safely and received emergency treatment at the hospital with the help of the 119 ambulance that was dispatched afterwards.
In response, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency expressed gratitude for the goodwill of passersby, saying, "We saved precious lives with the help of citizens who did not hesitate."
