The train service was delayed for more than 40 minutes as the National Solidarity for the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities held a protest on the Seoul Subway Line 4 on the way to work this morning (20th).

According to the Seoul Transportation Corporation, Jeon Jang-yeon started the demonstration at Hyehwa Station around 8 am today and ended the demonstration at Hoehyeon Station around 10 am.

As a result, the upbound line was delayed by 48 minutes and the downbound line was delayed by about 43 minutes based on Hoehyeon Station.

On the 13th of this month, Jeon Jang-yeon condemned the Ministry of Strategy and Finance and resumed the demonstration on the way to work.

They demanded working-level consultations to reflect the budget for the rights of persons with disabilities, and said that if the Ministry of Strategy and Finance agrees to the consultation, they will stop the protests taking the subway to work.

After the press conference, they took a train to the Samgak area and blocked four entrances from around 8:06 a.m. and continued the protest.

Jeonjangyeon officials delayed the departure of the train and continued their speech by hanging a ladder around their neck and blocking the train entrance.

As the delay time increased, the police pulled the ladder out of the necks of the people involved in the battlefield and forcibly moved them, but there was a high castle at one time, but the operation was resumed without a physical collision as the protesters stopped the demonstration on their own.

The train service was delayed for 24 minutes as the group moved to Sadang Station and held a demonstration from around 8:50 am.

At a press conference today, Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Commissioner Kim Gwang-ho said, "The task of the times is to establish order through strict law enforcement in situations where people are trying to enforce their will by tying their feet up, such as during the Jeonjangyeon protests. I will,” he said.
