Police have launched an investigation after receiving reports of alleged abuse of stray cats with adhesives, etc.

According to the Incheon Michuhol Police Station on the 20th, a report was received by the police saying that two stray kittens found near an elementary school in Michuhol-gu, Incheon were reported to have been abused by someone around 3 pm on the 16th.

Reporter A said that the cats, who were less than a month old, had glue all over their bodies and their hairs were stuck together.

Mr. A took the cats home and washed them, but explained that the adhesive was not easily removed.

Earlier, on the 12th, he raised the possibility of abuse, saying he witnessed a man in his 50s or 60s holding a kitten's neck with forceps and passing by in the same area.

The police plan to check whether there was any actual abuse based on the photos of the stray cat provided by Mr. A and the surrounding CCTV.

A police official said, "The reporter assumed that the adhesive on the cat's body was a product sprayed when catching mice.
