The Korea Broadcasting Journalists Association announced today (15th) that the 5th fact-checking contest will be held.



The fact-checking contest was prepared to raise awareness about false information and improve media literacy, so-called media understanding. It proceeds to the content section to produce and apply for.



The total prize money is 30 million won, and the winners of the Grand Prize and Excellence Awards are divided into the general division and the youth division.



5 million won and 3 million won each are given to the Korea Communications Commission Award, which is the grand prize for the fact check and content categories of the general department, and 3 million won is given to the Minister of Education Award, which is awarded to the youth department.



Any teenager or citizen over the age of 13 can participate individually or as a team, and can apply through the fact-checking contest website (http://factcheckcontest.com) until September 25.
