A man in his 50s has been arrested for habitually stealing money and valuables, including Hallabong, while visiting restaurants and farms located on Jeju Island. 



The Seogwipo Police Station announced today (15th) that they arrested A, who was charged with breaking into and theft of a building at night on the 14th.



A is accused of stealing 2 million won worth of cash and Hallabong from 13 restaurants, cafes, and citrus farms since last month. 



A was found to have committed a crime by aiming at an unlocked place or using a screwdriver to open the door and enter. 



In the process, he showed meticulous attention to detail, such as parking far away from the crime scene or bringing extra clothes to change in order to confuse the investigation.

The police arrested Mr. A in the parking lot of a mart located in Seogwipo-si on the 13th through analysis of surrounding CCTVs and undercover investigation, and are investigating the female crimes. 



According to the police investigation, it is known that Mr. A lives in an orchard warehouse and a vehicle without a clear residence, stealing money and using it for living expenses. 



A police official said, "The suspect has a history of being punished for committing similar crimes in other areas in the past."
